What we make
Absolutely Original is a small line of sweaters and cardigans made to be the softest thing in your closet. Fewer pieces, chosen well, so the whole line goes together. That’s the big idea, and honestly it’s enough.
Yarns picked by hand feel, a little texture where it counts, and colors that work with anything you own. Wear one, then wear it again. You’ll find us at Von Maur and in Dry Goods stores.

The yarn
Everything starts with how it feels. We pick yarns that are soft on the first wear and still soft after a season of them.
The stitch
A little texture, a good rib, a clean edge. The stitch is where a simple sweater gets its personality.
The color
Cream, light beige, taupe, light blue and a good dark brown. Colors that get along, so getting dressed stays easy.
Made to be lived in
The good stuff isn’t loud about it. Here’s what goes into a piece before it ever earns a spot in your rotation:
